# Galya

> Galya is B2B taste infrastructure for AI-native products that models and exposes human taste and affinity as structured context that AI agents and applications can query, powering personalization, ranking, and decision-making.

Galya is API-first and model-agnostic. It solves the cold-start problem in personalization: instead of waiting for behavioral history to accumulate, Galya models taste structurally and returns useful signal from the first interaction. No personally identifiable information is required and no user profiles are stored; taste context is computed at inference from anonymous signals and indexed content. The shift Galya is built around is resonance over relevance: not just what matches the query, but what matches the person.

## What Galya does

- **Personalized discovery and reranking**: re-orders search and recommendation results against what each person actually responds to, with no behavioral history required.
- **Customer intelligence**: clusters audiences by what they engage with rather than what they declare, exposed as a dashboard.
- **Agent context injection**: supplies structured taste context to agents and LLMs at inference, available as function-calling tools.
- **Content intelligence**: indexes catalog assets for what they communicate (mood, tone, intent), not just category and tags.

## How it works

Galya turns how people engage with multimodal content, across images, video, text, and audio, into structured taste and affinity signals. At the core is a multimodal Taste Graph that models the affinities between people, content, and patterns to infer what someone actually likes. Applications send behavioral signals (dwell, scroll depth, saves, skips, return visits) and catalog content; Galya returns structured taste context at inference: affinity scores for ranking, reranked results, and agent-ready context. It sits on top of your existing data stack rather than replacing it, and works from the first interaction with no stored personal data.
